Without any warning, my account was frozen. Without any explanation as to WHY, or any revelation of due process, or any hint as to HOW to avoid a future freeze. Sound familiar to anyone?
Thank you, brother. I wish I could believe that the source of my irritation - Jew Hating Hamas Lovers and Jew Hating Useful Idiot Westerners - would suddenly stop being a stone in my shoe. But until that unlikely day, I will continue to call them out for their lives and their evil.
back up all your work, post until it happens again. it's a tough call. i use 3 strikes rule because restarting on new email or new acct is a pain in the ass once, but by the 3rd time, fuck em.
Christopher I believe that setting up your own site would be the safest way to go. It takes one degenerate to submit a complaint, as you correctly mentioned on Facebook, etc and they suspend the site. Basically you are guilty & the onus is on you to prove your innocence. Thinking we still live in a Democracy is a misnomer. Check our Dr Sirus' Substack he partially posts here - https://drsircus.substack.com/ and then completes the post on his website - https://drsircus.com/ - All the very best
All media platforms have the problem of determining real problems from false positives
You should 100% register a separate domain (messytimes.com perhaps) and - for now - point that to substack, but also create a subdomain (backup.messytimes.com) which copies your posts on a system other than substack (hosted ghost perhaps) so that if this happens again you can simply move to the backup option and ignore substack by changing DNS entries so that what was backup.messytimes.com is now the real thing
Wonder if one from the "other side" reported you? Even on FB, I seldom block others. What I don't do is allow them on my page which I keep restricted via "friends only" to keep my sanity. I have been reported when posting on other pages by "report happy" people who disagree with me.
As said, back it all up (which you probably already do) and keep posting... don't let the crazies get you to leave.
Expected this day to come but it's still a terrible blow. I was so happy to find Substack three years ago. For the first time I was totally free to speak my mind without suppression.
The day Substack started identifying writers with different colored checks to show who was more successful I knew the gig was up. Once Substack is gone, that's pretty much it.
Recently I was reading a post on Substack that I found highly interesting. It was something about climate, about the universe and about the fact that global CO2 in the atmosphere had 'recently' been (geologically speaking) at an all-time low and that we just barely escaped a total die-off of all living organisms, thanks to the uptick in CO2 over the last 150 years or so.
Somehow that piece disappeared suddenly while I was reading and I have not been able to find it again. I cannot remember the author's name or the post's title, unfortunately. Could this be related or similar to what you are reporting, Christopher?
Absolutely, Jake. My point was rather that this story disappeared while I was reading it and I wondered - and still do - whether it would be an action comparable to the removal or disappearance of Christopher’s account
I'm voting stay. I'll miss your angry tirades Chris!

Onwards!
Good Shabbos. Death to our enemies!
I appreciate everyone's feedback.

your call.
I am not sure what my answer should be. It is dependent on whether they explain to you and make changesso this cannot happen again.
If it happens to you, or anyone else, again, I will leave Substack as a subscriber. And I do not know where I can then go.

Thanks. I guess I need to add functionality to https://messytimes.show

I am so sorry to hear this. I hope your articles will be restored.
Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is enemy action. Be alert, @marymc.
Same thing has happened to me twice. I just shrugged it off as incompetence or a glitch in the Substack system

The human addition of CO2 to the atmosphere feeds all plants. Plants in turn give us oxygen. Win, win. Plants live. Animals live.
Absolutely, Jake. My point was rather that this story disappeared while I was reading it and I wondered - and still do - whether it would be an action comparable to the removal or disappearance of Christopher’s account
Thx for the heads up. This reminded me to download subscribers emails.
Completely unacceptable! Good for you for speaking out!
It certainly seems censorship-free for hate speech.
Tell me about it.
