When you think of WWII, do you say the Allies defeating Nazi Germany was "not worth applause" because German civilians were killed as a result of the Allied bombing required to defeat the Germans who started the war?
Perhaps some moral clarity would help you think clearly. Why is Israel the only nation in the world who is supposed to allow the torture, rape, murder and kidnapping of innocent unarmed people and not do anything about it?
If 1,400 of your family and friends were suddenly brutalized in that way, what would you demand your government do to the country that did it to you? Send them cookies and request they be nicer? The horror show that is Gaza is due to Hamas who have ruled since Israel left in 2005. It should be paradise. It should be another Dubai. If elections were held today, 75% of Gazans would vote for Hamas again. They would rape and pillage and murder again. They live to kill Jews. They train their children from about 3 years of age to kill Jews. The adults all hope their children grow up to be martyrs, while killing Jews.
