Jew Hatred at Harvard is a Feature, not a Bug
No more taxpayer money for universities. No more tax-free hedge funds calling themselves "endowments." Private institutions can hate Jews on their own dime.
Evil, hate-filled psychopaths invade a country. In a few short hours, they rape, murder, torture and burn alive 1,200 unarmed people. They film themselves committing these atrocities, laughing and joking and calling their families to say, “Hey Dad! I killed 10 people! Thanks be to God!” The sick killers take their victims’ phones, call their loved ones and execute people in front of their horrified mothers and fathers. After their rape and murder fest, they drag a few hundred hostages back to tunnels underground, parading the gang-raped and murdered naked bodies of young women through their home city where hundreds of men, women and children cheer in delight and praise God for this sick evil.
The victims’ government immediately launch an invasion to recover their hostages and eradicate any possibility of the rapists and murderers attempting this horrific, unprompted, inhuman massacre.
So naturally the soulless morons at Harvard support the rapists and murderers.
Jew Hatred is a feature, not a bug of the Harvard Operating Ethos. These Hamas Boosters are cheering for Jew Murder and Torture in front of the Harvard Divinity School. Is that ironic or an echo of Medieval Christendom?
A few quick observations:
Why are these idiots wearing masks? I assume it is to hide their identities. Real brave - calling for Jew Murder without being open about who you are.
To pink-hair: What does “Harvard must recognize genocide” mean? The Gazan Government began a war which the Israeli Government is responding to and will finish. What “genocide?”
To the masked moron with the backpack at his feet: What “occupation?”
To the one unmasked goatee in back: Why should Israel “cease firing” when the Gazan Government initiated this war, continues to hold hostages and continues to fire rockets into Israel?
Ah, whatever. In general, to each and every one of these privileged Jew Haters celebrating the rape, captivity and murder of innocent people: If you really cared, you would find a way to go to Gaza and fight the IDF directly. Cowards.
Does anyone ask them, Why should Israel cease firing? It’s not like Hamas or Fatah or the rest of “the Palestinians” have changed their stance; they don’t want “land for peace” or a “two-state solution.” They want to eradicate Israel. They have never said anything to the contrary. Their stated goal of eradicating Israel is chanted by evil Jew Haters across American universities and cities: “From the river to the sea!”
If another country promises to eradicate yours, why would you pause to give them time to re-arm? Especially after these evil cowards did not invade to fight the IDF - no, these evil scum raped and murdered unarmed civilians. In what rational universe would any moral country “cease firing” while evil scum who gang rape and take hostages continue to shoot rockets at civilian centers and refuse to give up hostages?
Maybe historian Derek Penslar, the Head of Harvard’s Center for Jewish Studies, a Professor of Jewish History can shed some light on this topic.
Mr. Penslar would seem to be an excellent choice for a role in addressing the serious problem of Jew Hatred on Harvard’s campus. His appointment has come with with criticisms, which is to be expected, given the fraught times we live in and, frankly, Harvard’s horrendous track record on this topic since 7 October 2023. The Wall Street Journal opinion pages hit him with this accusation.
Mr. Penslar is a professor of Jewish history. He calls Israel a “settler colonial” state and compares the Jewish state’s establishment to France’s colonial takeover of Algeria. In August he signed an academic petition called “The Elephant in the Room.” It endorsed the conspiracy theory that the Netanyahu government’s proposals for judicial reform mask a plan to “ethnically cleanse all territories under Israeli rule of their Palestinian population.” It asserted that Israel imposes a “regime of apartheid” on Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza and accused the country of “Jewish supremacism.”1
Then again, maybe not. I am concerned to read the calls of condemnation of Mr. Penslar, but that concern is tempered by statements of support from institutions like the American Academy for Jewish Research. Their public letter of support on 21 January 2024 reads in part:
Professor Penslar is a prolific scholar with a stellar international reputation, whose numerous books address the historical development of many of the topics raising rancor at our universities today: antisemitism, Zionism, Jews and the military, and the history of Israel. It is precisely this kind of expertise that is needed in the current moment.
The vicious and groundless charges launched at Professor Penslar since his appointment to Harvard’s presidential task force on antisemitism have caricatured his work and views through out-of-context sentences or sentences not authored by him to impugn his scholarship and integrity and cast him, unjustifiably, as ideologically motivated and even antisemitic. What may not be obvious to the public is that as scholars, we engage with historical sources and ideas to analyze and explain them, even if we may disagree with these ideas or even find them abhorrent.2
So perhaps mere mortal journalists with a political axe to grind have cherry picked scholarly words out of context. I cannot form an opinion on the matter with the amount of data I’ve reviewed, so I will just say in a very bland manner that for the good of Harvard and for the USA, I hope the positive commentary paints a more accurate picture of the professor than do his detractors.
I had earlier thought that Louis Brandeis is spinning in his grave at the disgraceful behavior exhibited at Harvard. Then I recalled his own career and his own experience of discrimination at Harvard and I bet he is not surprised, no matter how annoyed.
Thank you Chris.
Does your head spin when you start thinking about things like this? I become somewhat detached & light headed. It’s painful, and everywhere is chaos too!
I was able to emote while reading this, so thanks again. 🕊️
