The Swamp Beast is Thrashing Around, Trying to Avoid its Demise
The Administrative State acts like any other organism. Now that it is being dismantled, it is roaring up out of the Potomac Swamp to gnash its terrible teeth and try to destroy those duly elected.
I have been dealing with and analyzing the unaccountable Administrative State in DC for decades now. The bureaucracy is indeed akin to any other multi-cellular organism. It wants to defend itself and preserve its life at all costs.
The parasitic, illegally-unionized, unaccountable - until now - and anonymous bureaucracy have nothing but disdain for the American taxpayer. Which is odd, because the taxpayers are their damned bosses.
Now that their bosses have hired a management team to end their employment, they have gone running to Leftist judges who are wildly overstepping their authority and telling the American people, “No! We know you hired a new CEO and his management team to fire all these parasites, but somehow we are going to force you to keep paying people you have demanded be fired.”
Trump should just tell security to bar the doors if these idiots try to go back into the buildings they used to work in and tell Treasury not to pay their paychecks. It’ll be like Milton in Office Space. Just fix the glitch and eventually it will work itself out.
We have a wonderful piece from AlphaHedge about crazed federal judges running amok, grabbing powers they most assuredly do not possess. One of these evil bastards ran the FISA Court under Barry Hussein Soetoro, when the FBI spied on and persecuted Donald Trump during his first run for office in 2016.
Obama Judge Rules Against DOGE Shutdown Of USAID, Orders Employee Access Reinstated

In the latest legal turn of events - since the United States is now governed by activist judges, an Obama-appointed federal judge on Tuesday found that Elon Musk and DOGE likely violated the constitution when it shut down deep state slush fund USAID, and has ordered them to restore access for current (remaining) employees.
US District Judge Theodore Chuang ruled in favor of more than two dozen unnamed current and former USAID employees and contractors who challenged the Trump administration's efforts to shutter the organization.
They just don’t get it. Permit me to try to get this into their thick skulls. “Your boss fired you and is shutting down your division, which has failed to perform and is a money-losing operation. You have no rights to a job on the taxpayer dime. You were hired to do a job. Whether or not you would like to continue doing it is not your decision - it is that of your employer, the American taxpayer. And we’re done with your parasitic existence. Welcome to the private sector.”
In a 68-page decision, Chuang granted in part their request for a preliminary injunction, ruling that DOGE and Musk likely violated the Constitution's Appointments Clause and separation of powers.
Musk has been ordered to reinstate access to email, payment and other electronic systems for all current USAID employees and personal services contractors, while the Trump administration is now prevented from taking any further actions related to the shutdown of USAID - including placing employees on administrative leave, firing USAID workers, closing buildings, bureaus or offices, and deleting the contents of its websites or collections.
Where in the holy *&%$ or - more relevantly - the Constitution does a federal judge derive this supposed power to meddle in staffing decisions made by the duly elected Executive Officer of the United States?
Of note - the order does not currently require the reinstatement of fired employees, after roughly 83% of USAID programs have been officially canceled according to Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
"After a six-week review, 5200 contracts that are now cancelled spent tens of billions of dollars in ways that did not serve, and even harmed the core national interests of the United States," he said.
This latest judicial move to block the Trump administration comes days after DC District Court judge James Boasberg (who was in charge of the FISA court when the Obama administration was spying on Trump), issued a two-week halt on deporting illegal immigrant gang members. On Tuesday Trump called for Boasberg's impeachment, drawing a sharp rebuke from Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, who said it was "not an appropriate response."
Justice Roberts can go take a time-out in the corner to have a think about what he’s done. This meddling bastard Boasberg should have been impeached and imprisoned for the evil nonsense he put this country through. It is no stretch to assert that his illegal rulings about Trump led directly to the political violence the Left has been deploying since 2016. People who were killed and property that was damaged would not have happened had this horrible man not been in a position of authority.
The FISA court - totally misnamed as it is not a “court” in any real sense but an Administrative State Star Chamber where no dissent or defense is allowed and whose entire proceedings occur in secret - itself should not exist. Boasberg is the arrogance of the Administrative State incarnate. The Obama FBI spied on a Republican political candidate on behalf of Hillary Clinton, who paid for the complete fabrication of “Russian Collusion,” which absurdity continues to damage America to this day.
The Trump administration is also in the process of reinstating over 24,000 federal workers after a different Obama judge, US District Judge James Bredar, ordered the mass reinstatement of employees at 18 federal agencies last week, determining that the administration’s justification for the firings—poor performance—was not supported by evidence. The ruling follows another decision by a federal judge in San Francisco, who also found terminations at six agencies to be illegal.
Again, where does a federal judge derive any authority to reinstate workers that the Executive has decided no longer should be employed by the taxpayers? The voters voted to dismantle Leviathan. They voters did not vote for a random judge somewhere to magically wave a wand to hire 24,000 people whose employment was terminated - for whatever reason.
The Trump Administration does not need “justification for the firings.” Public sector unions are illegal on their face and so everyone sucking at the taxpayer teat is an at-will employee. It is no longer the will of the taxpayer that they be employed.
We will trim down Leviathan in line with my suggestions:

As we do so, we can take time to chortle over the literal insanity of the Leftwing part of this country, who bounce from pillar to post, screaming about random “issues” with no guiding principles behind whatever it is they are howling about at any given moment. For example, until Elon Musk read my book and then created DOGE, electric vehicles were going to save us from carbon and he was the Left’s patron saint. Now unhinged Democrats (pardon the redundancy) are burning Teslas and Tesla dealerships because…. I don’t know why.
The nation is bankrupt. Thank God Almighty there are some adults in charge who are fixing this madness and deep fiscal irresponsibility.
Let the ignorant wingnuts scream in the streets; we are improving the nation for them, as well.
I hope the President starts ignoring and then impeaching these judges who are not coloring outside the lines. They have lost all sense of where the lines are and what their - limited - roles are.
