Ryan Douglas Hates Jews

He is not unique in that, of course, but he did take the time to "argue" with me in response to an interesting Opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal.

[To those who wonder why I take my valuable time to call out these evil people, it is because all that is required for Evil to triumph is for good people to stay silent. For decades, I have watched the insidious rot of Marxism and Jew Hatred metastasize on American university campuses, in the media and in broader society. It has now erupted in public. These evil scum are now confident they can attack Jews in public and call for Jewish genocide not even 78 years after the Allies documented the Nazi death camps. I refuse to be silent; anyone who does not want to work with me as a result of my declaring Jew Hatred abhorrent is someone I don’t want to work with, so that has a lovely symmetry to it. Brave, moral people need to speak up to keep Western Civilization free and for us to have a viable future.]

Everywhere I look after October 7th, 2023, I hear and see rabid Jew Haters screeching at the top of their lungs, feeling apparently free to express themselves after years of keeping it all bottled up inside. These people remind me of this Jew Hating fool named Ian I sadly knew in Sydney, through no choice or fault of my own. He was the boyfriend - who refused to put a ring on it - of one of my business school classmates. He was a random pub owner of - if I recall - Scots Irish extraction living in Ontario, Canada when he wasn’t following his girlfriend around Asia.

The very first time I met this guy was at the Randwick Arms pub, on the outside patio. It was in passing, as I was leaving. Someone introduced us, I guess we chatted about where we were from, and the fourth or fifth sentence this clown said to me was, “You better watch out for those New York Jews!” It was so bizarre and inappropriate, I just had to assume he thought he was joking in some way.

Nope. He had all kinds of opinions about Israel and Jews and the rest of it. I only discovered that after my wife and I had dinner with him and his girlfriend who later said to me in passing that she has asked him to tone down his thoughts about Jews. He was almost a caricature of an arsehole. Whenever I encounter some moron like “Ryan Douglas” on, say the Wall Street Journal article comment board, I think of that Canadian clown Ian. He had all sorts of in-depth commentary to offer about Israel to anyone who would listen, and often at anyone who tried not to listen to his crap.

He was obsessed by Jews, which I guess is nice because the Jewish nation was living rent-free in his hateful head. He had nothing to say about Canadian First Nations’ land dispossession, nor about any other conflict anywhere else in the world. Nope - it was all Jews all the time on Ian TV.

Canadian Ian springs to mind as I am writing about another twit whose real name may or may not be Ryan Douglas, who decided to get all argumentative with me on a comment thread following this opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal.

I only took the time to write this not because this one idiot is worth the attention, but because so much facile, incorrect crap comes out of Jew Haters mouths and the smarter ones trying to couch their irrational hatred in all kinds of smart-sounding arguments and cherry-picked “facts” about the bad choices the Fakestinians have made going on eight decades or more.

Ryan kicked off the fun responding to another reader who had made a prosaic observation about the realities of armed conflict. His snippet follows, with my response back to him quoted below.

What is "their land" in your Jew Hate-filled mind? Really. Tell the class. "Palestine" as a nation never existed. Period. It was a geographical designation on maps, deriving from a Roman administrative designation designed to irritate the Jews. I love all these clever modern Arab TikTok kids who point to 19th century maps with "Palestine" written on them, without bothering to also point to things like "Sahara" and "Sahel," meaning the label is a place name designation, not a country. It was an Ottoman backwater which the Brits then took control of after that empire collapsed. While that was happening Arabs sold land in "Palestine" all day long to Jews immigrating from Europe, which complicates considerably your fantasy of “Jews stole the land.” The 1947 Partition gave these mongrels half the land controlled by the Brish Mandate, which they rejected in favor of killing Jews. They then lost land BECAUSE they tried to kill the Jews and STEAL THE JEWS’ LAND.

So what is "their land?"

Israel is not going anywhere, except in the rabid Jew Hating fantasies of Hamas, Iran and Ryan Douglas. The Abraham Accords are signed between six countries, to move past this nonsense and create economic prosperity. The "land" has nothing to do with the Accords. Moreover, the "Palestinians" have been offered land for peace five times in 20 years and always so no. They have themselves to blame.

Why do you hate Jews? That is the bigger question.

He of course ignores the substance of my comments and hops like a hate-filled little frog to the next Jew Hating lily pad:

Buddy, I have been putting up with ignorant Jew Haters for decades. Your shtick is nothing new. To the extent it matters, I have already “won this argument” that only you are having, because Israel is not going anywhere. I am only responding to this idiocy to point out your Jew Hatred to other, perhaps impressionable readers. You don’t care about “the Palestinians.”

Quick question: What other current historical land disputes around the world are you passionate about? Morocco in the Western Sahara? All the murdered and displaced people by ISIS and now in Syria by Bashar Al-Assad with help from the Russians? Uighurs in China? TIBET? Kashmir? Eritrea and Ethiopia? Houthis and their fights with the Yemeni government? Bangladesh v. India? Never-ending claims about land in British Columbia?

Answer: You don’t care about any of those disputes, nor about whose “land was stolen,” because none of those ongoing - often violent - territorial disputes have anything to do with Jews.

Then we see him do the typical Jew Hater thing on message boards. He does not respond to my comments and questions but just moves onto some other random idiocy. He posts something boring and predictable about the Jews wanting to “exterminate” the Palestinians. Despite my best attempts at self-control, I replied.

I love the fact that the WSJ censors had to protect Jew Hater Ryan Douglas from my questions and rebuttals of his lies. Their blocking my comments and not his tells you where the sympathies of the anonymous cubicle drones at the WSJ lie.

That was about all I could take of interacting with this moron. We live in Messy Times, largely because of people like Ryan Douglas and his soulmate Ian.
