"Democracy" only works when Democrats steal, er win, elections.

Every year, I tune into the State of the Union hoping the speaker will compare himself to Calvin Coolidge or Warren Harding. Every year, I am disappointed.

I made it through four sentences of the Delusional Disunion Funhouse Mirror Tour of Democrats’ Paranoia last night before switching over to watch an excellent episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation in which Captain Picard mind melds with a 202-year-old Vulcan Ambassador suffering from a form of Vulcan Alzheimer’s just before a critical interplanetary negotiation was to take place, thereby saving the Federation.

The latter story arc was more believable.

Apparently, Joe, his speechwriters and some chunk of Democrats view “MAGA Republicans” as the new Confederacy. At least Confederates were a real thing.

Joe said the quiet part out loud.

Some chunk of his party clearly still believes the actually mostly peaceful protest on January 6th 2021 was an “insurrection,” though the actions on that day bear no resemblance to any definition of “insurrection” I have been able to find. “Middle aged tourists wandering the halls of the Capitol” more aptly describes the day, with a few raucous window breakers to be sure, who should be done for vandalism.

But “insurrection?” Dream on, no matter what the fever pitch hysterical kangaroo show trial January 6th: The Musical! had to whine about it.

Why do I infer this condition of Democrat paranoia? Because he compared himself and our position in history to Lincoln’s on the brink of the Civil War. He used the phrase “assaults on our democracy” twice in his opening remarks. Why do Democrats believe that Our democracy! is under attack when all that is really happening is normal people are tired of their 97-genders-let’s-pay-off-rich-kids’-college-loans nonsense and are poised to vote them out of office? Do the vapors and pearl clutching get old for this crowd?

Biden’s Administration has turned the USA into a banana republic. There are multiple prosecutions and already one absurd conviction of the man currently beating Biden in the polls. The lunatic Left at Harvard are still requiring Wuhan Flu vaccine boosters to attend classes. The borders are wide open and NYC taxpayers are spending billions of dollars to house border jumpers who attack cops, get free phones and don’t work, while the farce of a Homeland Security Secretary perjures himself in front of Congress claiming the border is secure.

The only thing Biden has done I approve of is not dumping our long-term ally Israel while Leftist Jew Hating Chorus of the Democrats call for nothing else.

Everything else is beyond madness. These are not even policy debates anymore - they are competing versions of Reality. Fortunately for those us who live in objective reality not La-La-Wish-it-Were-So Land, carbon is a fundamental component of life, not a poison, cheap energy is a gift to the entire economy, poor people especially, and more Americans will vote against the insanity of surgically mutilating children who we don’t trust to vote but do trust to “know” they were born the wrong gender. Oh, and 9th place male finishers in sports shouldn’t get to suddenly decide their inner girl should be their outer girl and take away trophies from female athletes who worked their whole lives to excel in their sport of choice.

I can’t even.
