In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't really matter. The entertainment business is just that - a business. Whether he's the genuwine article or a clever fabrication dreamt up by a recent MBA as a marketing thesis doesn't matter. His songs are enjoyable and speak to people, which is awesome. Everyone bothering to put their creativity into the public square hopes their offerings mean something to someone else. Someday it may happen that I'll write something that gets 500,000 comments - I hope I like those comments, or at least some of them.
