About that Israeli "Occupation...."
If the Jews take one more inch of land, wherever shall "the Muslims" go?
I started this essay with the intention of, well, writing an essay about the hysterical claim about the Israelis “occupying Arab lands,” with the subtext being the Muslims being squeezed out of their ancestral lands, with nowhere to go.
Then I found this map.
There is a tiny speck of grey which is Israel. If you are older than 18 years, you’ll need a magnifying glass to see it.
Then I wrote a headline.
An old adage on Wall Street holds that you should never sell past the close.
Reality is ... NOBODY WANTS "PALESTINIANS". Ans especially, not Gazans! In fact, when Israel gave the Sinai back to Egypt, Egypt wouldn't take Gaza!
To this day, not a single Muslim nation will give naturalized citizenship to a "Palestinian". Not one.
BTW, I did a little research and found some interesting info on the 1850s Ottoman Land Registry Project in the Palestine area. I'll report more later, after more study ...Suffice it to say that for centuries, NOBODY owned most of the land, it was desolate, but upon hearing of the registry, wealthy Arab Syrians, Lebanese, Egyptians, etc, lay claim to vast areas of land (including desert & swamp like the Negev) that they never paid for, and then sold it for a pretty penny to guess who?? ... The late 1800s Zionist settlers.
So... who stole what land from whom?
